Tryout Information

2026 – Sunday January 18 in Belgrade 

Must sign up to try-out, sign ups close January 1st, 2026.

6 Things that MUST be brought to tryouts:

1. Signed Participation Waiver & Release, found on the last page of the handbook
2. Signed Permission/Liability Waiver & Photo Release
3. Signed Medical Release
4. Completed Sports Physical for current school year
5. Current AAU Membership Card with CVCC Club Code: U2UJ2FAWA
6. Check for Season Fees made out to CVVC: $250 for 11s/12s (14-16 practices and 4 tournaments, selected teams may do 5 or 6 tournaments), $600 for 14s-17s (23-26 practices and 6-8 tournaments). 12s East (Big Timber) – 4 tournaments.

Tryouts are closed to parent or public observation.

What are coaches looking for in a player at tryouts?
Attitude | Athleticism | Adaptability | Coachability | Competitive Edge | Potential

Some coaches are assigned to run drills, other coaches are dedicated to evaluation.

Once you have been selected to a team, you will be provided with more information including:

– Meet your coach and team
– Reffing Clinic – mandatory
– Club registration due

Practices will begin January 25th and will run through the end of April, with a chance of ending the first week of May.
